ITF- Team Kids

I have had the opportunity to work with Team Kids over the past 10 years on all kinds of AMAZING projects. This non profit goes into local schools and helps empower kids for FREE!! No charge! They do awesome things in children's lives and help so many people all over the world. Thanks to their donors and cool events like the Innovative Thinkers Forum this program has gone NATIONWIDE and continues to do work with over 75,000 kids! I am so proud to work with Team Kids and to help empower America's youth!

 

Pretty in pink and gold!

Nothing is better than getting to create a sweet wedding set for a sweet couple! This bride wanted to be pretty in pink and gold with a custom monogram so I was happy to deliver! Printed on soft metallic ivory paper with pink and gold details and matching gold lined pink envelopes! LOVE!

Changes...

Changes can be hard but they can also be exciting! New businesses or new ideas. Even just time for an update can be fun! This logo is no exception. A change of address and a new view and together we have updated their brand to something clean and modern. It isn't always easy but sometimes a new look is just what you need!

Counting down!

The countdown is on! I love helping my brides with the last minute details! As the days get closer to their big day, that is when I jump in to help with the sweet details that make their special day theirs! From escort cards, to perfectly matching menus and table cards to programs and more! I can help with it all. This darling couple is no exception! I can't wait to see how all the pieces fall into place for them! It makes my job so sweet! 

California Love

Your save the date is the first thing that your friends and family will see. It sets the tone for your event so I make sure to talk to my couples and see how they envision their big day with the colors they will use and themes etc. This couple was all about love and the amazing colors of California! Can't wait to until their big day to see how the colors play out into the wedding!

Go Team!

With lots of planning and love we were able to Celebrate the 8th Annual Team Kids Imagine event! This program has my heart and I love helping these amazing people pool all their talent and their heart and soul into their work to do AMAZING THINGS. I am so proud to be part of their Team and happy that they are now in our part of the neighborhood! Go TEAM!

 

No time for a siesta!

If you know me you know I love a party so this invite was easy peasy to design! Fresh fun colors, lively fonts and some cool papel picados and we are ready to FIESTA!

 

The Letter W

Today's Blog is brought to you by the letter W. Bright and lovely in coral and pink. This shower set was created to match a uber cute shower invite.  We created custom coordinating thank you cards, a note set for wishes for the bride and a sweet little tag to tie it all together - literally. I love my job!  

Crafty & creative

So my job is crafty, creative and complex. I get to help brides set the tone for their BIG DAY! The day they have dreamt about since they were little. Usually a save the date or an invitation is the first thing that goes out and it sets the tone for an event like this so I have to nail it! I like to ask lots of questions. Find out about what the colors are, their theme, hobbies, what is special about them and then "marry" that all into a custom suite. How cool is that for a job! I try to listen carefully and really get to know what the bride wants. This bride was no exception. The venue was romantic and vintage and she wanted to honor that. She knew that she wanted to include the "U" because that was special to their family. She also wanted a soft blush, mint and gold. At first I wasn't too sure about the gold but we found the perfect gold, tied in some romantic flourishes and the "U" and Voila! One beautiful wedding set especially made for them! It turned out so lovely.

Merry! Merry!

The holidays are coming and I can't tell you how much I  look forward to this time every year! I love to get to work on invites like this one for the AMAZING Jason's Catering! They  are a fun company and they love to celebrate and have a great time! I think this invitation captures their "Merriness" & and the happiness of the season perfectly! 

Wacky Details!

I am telling you it's the little details that make your event special and unique! This invite had all the wacky details... I knew they wanted the Monster Crew on the invite and we added the fun little wacky back graphic just for kicks and to seal the deal the envelope they added a googly eye! I couldn't even open it when I got mine in the mail. I just loved it so much! Thank goodness I had a extra sample!

Divalish!

Sometimes I just have to pinch myself because I get to work with the best clients ever!!!  Plus it is always so fun to custom make an invitation suite that captures someone so perfectly and have it spill into the event with all the little touches!  It is even better when you get some divalicious shots after the big event! These were taken at sweet Halie Rose's Mitzvah at the Island Hotel Newport Beach! Every little detail was as fabulous as she is!!

 

Fast cars....

What kid doesn't like fast cars and clean designs! This is what we had in mind when we starting designing the Bar Mitzvah suite for this cool kid! We created a custom logo mark based on his favorite colors and dream ride and then went from there! A little birdie told me...

So this is going to be my last post for a bit since I am going to be taking off shortly to have a sweet baby girl! This invite was for a luncheon that my friends threw me. The theme was "A little birdie told me" and it was super tweet with the most beautiful combinations of aqua and pink... What a lucky little bird! 

All you need is LOVE!

So my latest creative project has been working on a "Love Reunion" invite for all the couples Natalie from Swellegant and I have worked with over the years.... Think sparkling pool, champagne and summertime! I love my job! 

Beachy Stripes!

You have got to love a California Wedding - complete with beachy stripes for elegance and a playful pop of coral for some color! Oh and don't forget the mad lib rsvp. Those are always the best to get back from your guests! The responses are always super fun to get back and the guests actually enjoy doing them and get them back to you which is a plus!! 

I can't wait to go to this wedding and snaps some some more shots of all the fun details we did - from the candy bar to the flip flop basket it is going to a great day!  

 

"Bubbles and Nosh!"

Absolutely love this bride! Not only does she want cool non traditional fonts, colors & patterns but we get to use the term "Bubbles and Nosh!" How fun is that!?

Love is sweet....

This weeks project was to create some lovely menus, dessert menus, table and escort cards for a wedding at the Island hotel with Swellegant & Christopher Todd Studios... It doesn't get much better than this! 

Color Pop!

So these days my brides all want that "pop" of color and that  makes me beyond happy! From limes to poppy, I just love trying new colors combos! This invite set was going for the summer color pallette of greens, pinks and poppies. A lot of of the inspiration came from Pinterest - from the lace of the dress to the color of the sweet treats they will serve... All this can be married into the invite! After all the invite is the first thing people will see and it sets the tone for the wedding!
